Type Design

In this project I created my own typeface inspired by Berchtesgaden Germany, a place I went on my travels abroad to get a wider prospective of design. I designed and formatted the text myself from scratch. Since this typeface was inspired off of water, I decided to use water to make it. I did numerous iterations of these letters with water color figuring out how to control and bend the water into shapes I liked while keeping part of its freedom. Only after getting an alphabet I liked did I use Illustrator and Photoshop to make the letters. I used Font Book to achieve the spacing and kerning as well as turning it into an actual font.
