Infographic Design

In this project I made an infographic based off the 2024 Olympic data. To start, I had to gather the data onto a spreadsheet and do the calculations myself. Once I had that all organized neatly in a clear-to-read document I could finally start on the design. I chose to talk about diving and swimming over-all then focus in detail on the woman’s 100m breaststroke to illustrate how swimming and diving events actually look in the Olympics. The goal of this was to clearly show how well the countries did in these two water events as well as to let the viewer make their own conclusions on how the 2024 Olympics went, with clear answers easy-to-interpret data. Essentially, I wanted to make a massive confusing spreadsheet into something aesthetically pleasing and easy to understand. Something people could have deep thoughts about and easily see the comparisons.
